Welcome   Meetings   Charities   Social   Lodge of Instruction   History

Charitable actions are an important part of Freemasonry. In Lambhythe we are that proud that our history of steady but regular contributions have made a difference. Like most Lodges we support non-Masonic causes as well as Masonic charities.

It is a valued privilege of each year’s serving Master to nominate the charity(ies) that will receive the proceeds of the year’s fundraising. In recent years the following have all benefitted:

Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution
Help for Heroes

Haematomachrosis Association
FISH

Sailability
Royal Marines Benevolent Association

Barts. Hospital Cyberknife Appeal
BLESMA

We will consider helping any charity that is in need. We also try to help those charities that have been identified by Grand Lodge for universal support, for example the Cyberknife appeal, the London Air Ambulance, and the London Fire Service turntables.

The Lodge is a Patron of the Masonic Trust for Boys and Girls, Samaritan Fund (Gold Medal), Benevolent Institute, and is a Founder member of Metropolitan Grand Lodge.

In 2024 we were pleased to support the Metropolitan Grand Lodge's appeal to fund a second Air Ambulance for London.
