The Lodge of Instruction meets on Monday evenings at 6pm at Freemasons' Hall, for between one and two hours. There are usually four LoIs before each regular Lodge Meeting, with the last one being a full Officers’ night.

We usually practise for the meetings that we are due to perform in the near future. However, we also use the LoI to let newer members practice an office they have not tried before.

The rehearsals are very informal, and are the place where members can really start getting to know each other.

A highlight of the LoI is the pizza night, which follows right after the last LoI before a full Lodge meeting.

All full members of Lambhythe who are Master Masons are automatically members of the Lodge of Instruction. Members of other Lodges (especially Taylor's Working) may also join, for which there is a modest subscription. For more information about joining please contact the
